Learn “the art of seeing” through this enjoyable and information-packed creative discovery, from photography basics to advanced settings, and using examples of successful images. This mini-class will allow you to improve your photography technique and visualization. You will learn to develop your personal style and be empowered to make truly delightful photos to share, gift, and hang on the wall.
John Elliott is a master photographer with more than five decades in the medium, with deep experience in fine arts, photojournalism, portraiture, and commercial photography. He began his professional career as a newspaper photojournalist in Coral Gables, Florida in the early ’70s. Since then he has handled a wide variety of international assignments and projects, as an Army photographer, magazine photojournalist, and most recently as a public diplomacy Foreign Service officer for 11 years with the U.S. State Department. With a Fine Arts degree in Photography from Ohio University, and advanced studies at Harvard University, he became a photography instructor at the Art Institute of Atlanta in the ’80s and a corporate communications media manager in the ’90s. His photographs have been exhibited in Latin America, the Middle East, and throughout the USA. John is founder and director of the Ocala Photography Group. More at: www.thehumanpulse.com/profile
