Reilly Noir Series: Each month join us for a night of jazz by award-winning musicians!
Daniel Jordan is a nationally recognized jazz musician and educator since 1976. Dan joined Maynard Ferguson’s band in 1982 and began touring and recording as the tenor soloist. He is the creator of a nationally distributed educational video, “Journey through Jazz”. Dan has taught at numerous schools including Rollins College and has performed with a multitude of renowned artists such as Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Mel Torme, Frank Sinatra Jr, Wayne Newton, Doc Severenson, Billy Eckstein, The Dallas Jazz Orchestra, Woody Herman, Barry Manilow, The Four Tops, The Temptations and many more. He has performed on New York City Broadway, Late Night with David Letterman, and in countless other shows and productions. His television and recording experience include touring with Paul Anka, at the Montreal Jazz Festival, and a tour with Natalie Cole on live television in Italy, Germany, Poland and France. Other recordings include “Live From Birdland” with Scott Whitfield, “Storm” and “Live at the Great American Music Hall” with Maynard Ferguson, plus with various artists, “Live From Pleasure Island.”
